Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Assistant to work in our Convenient Care/Urgent Care team. The successful candidate will work a minimum of 3 full 12 hour weekday shifts per month, plus one full weekend per month, and one holiday per year. They will provide selective medical services, including standard medical assistant responsibilities and specialized testing, under the direction of Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent
Completion of at least 6 months of a formal nursing program, formal Medical Assistant education or EMS/Paramedic training
CPR certification
Minimum of one year recent medical assisting experience
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment
