Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant - Float will support the physician assistant and/or technologist with daily functions of the Clinic and provide general administrative support to the department. This role will work in multiple locations, including Blaine, Plymouth, and Edina centers, and travel to other locations throughout the metro as needed.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include patient care, administrative support, and performing other duties as assigned. The Medical Assistant will greet patients, take and record patient vitals, assist with procedures, and administer medications, among other tasks.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, certification as a Medical Assistant, and one year of experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual and healthcare experience in radiologic procedures and medications are preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant education program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant, current and in good standing
- Certification as a Phlebotomist in the appropriate state, if applicable
- Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- One (1) year experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance
