Role OverviewAssists the provider in the examination and treatment of patients, following established standards and practices. Ensures patient confidentiality at all times. May be tasked to assist in other areas of the clinic as needed.
What You Will Do
Greets patients, obtains patient history, explains treatment procedures, administers injections, performs diagnostic tests, and completes medical chart.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal communication skills, able to work all shifts and escort patients. Must be able to see with corrective eyewear and hear clearly with assistance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- MA course completion certification preferred
- Current certification in BLS
- 2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- PC skills or applicable computer experience
- Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology
