Role OverviewThis is a benefited, full-time position that generally works Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch. The schedule also includes 1 Saturday every 4 to 6 months to cover the Pediatric Clinic. This position primarily supports the Pediatric Department in Oceanside at the Jefferson Clinic, while maintaining flexibility to provide coverage within Internal Medicine as operational needs require.
What You Will Do
Assist the department clinically as a Medical Assistant and support the team with front office responsibilities such as answering phones, scheduling, and call backs when needed. Clinically, you will support our providers by checking patient vitals, rooming patients, stocking patient rooms, assisting with procedures and providing patient education as needed.

Requirements
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, or Medical Assistance Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
- BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
