Role OverviewAs a Medical Assistant, you will complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic, working alongside the provider to ensure patients are taken care of and the clinic runs smoothly.
What You Will Do
You will room and prepare patients, measure patient vital signs, complete required patient care documentation, and assist with day-to-day operations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a credentialed Medical Assistant with BLS certification, or a non-credentialed Medical Assistant with relevant experience and a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson Healthcare.
Requirements
- Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained
- One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support
