Role OverviewThis position is responsible for independently performing advanced Medical Assistant duties, including coordination of work for other Medical Assistants, or performing patient or population based care navigation. The Medical Assistant provides advanced clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting.
What You Will Do
Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow, performs front desk duties, assists with procedures, and promotes efficient patient flow while delivering patient-centered care.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 3+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, completion of a Medical Assistant Program, and a High School Equivalent / GED. Must be able to communicate effectively, organize changing work assignments, and have strong proficiency in EMR and/or Scheduling systems.
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
- High School Equivalent / GED
- 3+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
