Assists clinicians with routine clinical procedures and tests in the exam room, provides excellent customer service, and strengthens the patient/clinician relationship.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test)
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience in a clinical or customer service setting
  • Computer experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Electronic medical record (EMR) experience and/or aptitude to master the EMR
