Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant II Lead performs administrative, clerical, and technical supportive services to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients. They function as both a Clinic Assistant and a Medical Assistant for a designated practice, working under the clinical supervision of a licensed physician or as delegated by the physician for patient care activities.
What You Will Do
The Medical Assistant II Lead prepares patient schedules, coordinates time off requests, evaluates and directs patient flow, trains and orients new employees, provides coaching to staff, and handles escalated and non-routine patient concerns. They also perform administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and collecting patient demographic and insurance data.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of all requirements in a recognized Medical Assistant training program
- Three (3) years of directly related work experience
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant Program within one (1) year of placement in MA II Lead position
