Job Description

Atrius Health is an innovative healthcare leader and multi-specialty group practice seeking a Medical Assistant II to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and a medical assistant certification. Experience in a clinical setting and strong communication and customer service skills are required.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit or a Medical Assistant Certification required
Associate degree in medical assisting or graduate of medical assistant certification program preferred
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
Three years of experience in a clinical setting with at least one year as a Medical Assistant
Computer experience with word processing and spreadsheet programs
Electronic medical record (EMR) experience and/or aptitude to master the EMR
