Job Description
The Medical Assistant II is responsible for daily clinical work in the outpatient/primary care setting, assisting physicians and other staff under the direction of a Registered Nurse, Advanced Practice Nurse, and/or Physician.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant program
  • 3 or more years of relevant clinical experience
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred but not required
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
