Role OverviewLa Clínica de La Raza is seeking a Medical Assistant IV who is inspired to deliver a great experience to patients and play an important role in patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be challenged to be exceptionally accurate, observant, and efficient while providing a human touch and excellent overall patient experience.
What You Will Do
The Medical Assistant IV will perform a variety of tasks, including preparing treatment rooms, verifying patient information, and administering immunizations. They will also assist with scheduling appointments, answering telephones, and completing insurance forms.

Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalent
- MA-IV Demonstrate full competency as a Medical Assistant
- Must hold a current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate
- Completion of an accredited MA Training program or One year of hospital/clinic/medical office experience or completion of on-the-job training within 90 days
- Phlebotomy Certification (only if required by the clinic)
- Certification for health clearances required of all healthcare professionals
- Experience in previous work or school training others
