Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant II provides clinical care and performs clerical duties to support office/clinic functions under the direction of a licensed clinician.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include escorting patients, taking vital signs, collecting and documenting patient health status, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and Point of Care tests, and assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharge procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a Medical Assistant credential, Basic Life Support certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heart Saver (HS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Medical Assistant credential, approved by the Massachusetts Department of Health (ARMA, NHA, etc.)
