MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Requirements

• Maintains confidentiality at all times.
• Works up patients and records vital signs, weights, and chief complaints on progress notes.
• Assists patients in exam rooms and nurses with procedures and treatments.
• Administers medication as ordered by providers, under supervision.
• Maintains and organizes supplies in the supply room and keeps exam rooms stocked.
• Rotates to other units and departments as needed.
• Maintains up-to-date CPR Certification and submits a copy to the personnel department.
• Participates in nurse training sessions and maintains CEU's as required.
