Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant at ACE Wellness Center supports the delivery of integrated mental and physical healthcare by performing both clinical and administrative duties.
What You Will Do
Prepare patients for examination, assist physicians and nurses during exams and minor procedures, collect and process lab specimens, administer medications or vaccinations, and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for a Medical Assistant with a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of a Medical Assistant Certification Program, and at least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Certification Program (CMA or RMA)
- CPR/BLS certification
- At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
