Role OverviewAs a Medical Assistant at Monument Health, you will provide direct and indirect patient care in the ambulatory clinic setting, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to meet the needs of each patient. What You Will Do
You will properly prepare examination and treatment areas, complete patient rooming procedures, administer and document unit dose medications/immunizations, perform EKG's and laboratory testing, and ensure accurate documentation in the patient record.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies
- Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant University or accredited training program
- Medical Assistant-Certified (MA) by one of the listed certifying bodies
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Professional Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
- 1+ years of Clinical Experience
- 1+ years of Healthcare Experience
