Role OverviewProvide care for clinic patients under supervision of the physician or nurse practitioner. Assist providers and staff in coordinating patient care. Function as primary liaison between patients, staff, pharmacy, and physician / nurse practitioner.
What You Will Do
Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, take vital signs, document information, provide written prescriptions, and communicate with patients as instructed by physician or nurse practitioner.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of formal training program as a medical assistant
- 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Electronic Medical Record experience and health insurance (preferred)
- RMA or CMA certification (preferred)
- BLS (preferred)
