Role OverviewAs a Medical Assistant, you will provide patient support and communication, facilitating an exceptional patient experience. You will be responsible for welcoming and preparing patients for their appointments, informing them of relevant information, and providing clear communication around the services they are scheduled to receive.
What You Will Do
Perform point-of-care laboratory tests, EKGs, suture/staple removal, dressing changes, and other patient care activities. Collect and document vital signs, histories, and screenings. Authorize prescription refills, prepare patients and supplies for visits, and perform phlebotomy and specimen processing.

Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant or eligible within 90 days of hire
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Current BLS certification for healthcare providers preferred; required within 90 days of employment
- High School Diploma/Equivalency required
