Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting. This role includes but not limited to rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in the electronic medical record, assisting with procedures, supporting providers, and promoting efficient patient flow while delivering patient-centered care.
What You Will Do
Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow. Performs patient centered care delegated by Provider. Provides a safe environment for patients.

Must have 1+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant. Must be able to communicate effectively with people from varied socioeconomic backgrounds. Must be able to organize changing work assignments.
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
- High School Equivalent / GED
- 1+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (Preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) (Preferred within 90 Days)
