Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and documenting in the electronic medical record.
What You Will Do
Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow, assists with front desk duties, and performs basic patient-centered care as delegated by provider.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a positive attitude, effective communication skills, and basic patient care skills, with a preferred certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
- High School Equivalent / GED
- less than 1 year clinical experience as a Medical Assistant (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (Preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) (Preferred within 90 Days)
