Role OverviewPerforms clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory care setting under the supervision of a physician/provider and/or a registered nurse. Assists providers with patient preparation, minor office procedures, and patient education. Supports other members of the clinical care team and manages variable patient volume.
What You Will Do
Contributes to department goals, assists with patient exams, provides clerical support, and participates in daily team huddles. Screens patients for preventative care needs, conducts motivational interviews, and identifies potential behavioral health needs.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- 6 months experience working in an ambulatory care medical office
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA or equivalent within 1 Year
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)-American Medical Technologists or equivalent within 1 Year
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days
