Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant is responsible for providing provider support and comprehensive direct care to patients and their families under the direction of the provider. This position supports the Practice Director and Manager in coordinating and leading practice personnel to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the delivery of patient care services.
What You Will Do
The Medical Assistant will perform duties such as receiving patients from the waiting room, obtaining and recording in-take information, preparing patients and providers for procedures, and observing universal precautions and aseptic techniques.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- CPR certification
- Experience providing administrative duties and clinical care in a physician practice or ambulatory clinic setting
