Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant will assist healthcare providers during patient exams, procedures, and treatments, including performing aseptic procedures and collecting lab specimens. They will also perform basic lab tests, prepare and maintain examination rooms, and provide patient education on health management.
What You Will Do
The Medical Assistant will take and record patient vitals, administer injections and medications, perform basic lab tests, and prepare and maintain examination rooms. They will also assist in minor surgeries, perform EKG and vision checks, and update patient records in the electronic health record system.

Requirements

- Valid Medical Assistant Certification or Registration (preferred)
