Role OverviewAs a Medical Assistant at Family Care Center, you will provide care for clinic patients under supervision of the physician or nurse practitioner, assist providers and staff in coordinating patient care, and function as a primary liaison between patients, staff, pharmacy, and physician/nurse practitioner.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include escorting patients to exam rooms, interviewing patients, documenting chief complaint, allergies, current medication, and vital signs, communicating directly with patients, providing written prescriptions, and ensuring all related reports and labs are uploaded into patients' medical records.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of formal training program as a medical assistant
- 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant
- Electronic Medical Record experience
- Health insurance
