Role OverviewMedical Assistants help make sure everything runs smoothly between checking in and seeing the doctor. They prepare patients by bringing them to the exam room, doing basic health checks, and explaining things clearly and kindly. By doing this, they help make sure patients get good care and doctors can work more efficiently.
What You Will Do
Intake & Clinical Rooming: Beyond standard vitals, you will perform "Intake," including medication and allergy verification, patient history documentation, and conducting validated screenings as needed (e.g., PHQ-2, Fall Risk, etc.). Inbox & Worklist Management: Manage the EMR inbox using specific routing rules to handle patient messages, lab results, and medication adherence follow-ups with pharmacies. Education & Loop-Back: Your role is to make sure patients really understand what they need to do next.

- Graduated from MA training program or at least 3 years experience
