Role OverviewWe are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic Medical Assistant to run the clinic for one partner in a busy Ear Nose & Throat group practice. The MA is a critical member of the clinical team, responsible for interviewing patients, charting in the EMR, scheduling tests and procedures, and assisting with minor office procedures.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting health history, obtaining faxed records, measuring vital signs, scheduling tests, assisting with in-office procedures, cleaning and sanitizing rooms, and managing prescription refill requests.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal skills include at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, an ability to take vitals, an ability to type, a familiarity with Windows computers, and a knowledge of medical terminology. ENT experience and NextGen proficiency are preferred, but we are willing to train.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Medical Assisting certification (recommended)
- at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant
