Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant performs clinical and administrative duties, including taking medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the provider during the examination. They may also be responsible for answering telephones, greeting patients, and updating and filing patient medical records.
What You Will Do
The Medical Assistant will fulfill patient care responsibilities, assist patients in navigating care, accurately document patient encounters, and communicate with external and internal parties to facilitate continuity of care.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of related work experience or OJT for ≥2 years, and certification as a RMA, CMA, or CCMA. They will also be able to communicate effectively in the English language and participate in QI activities.
