Role OverviewPerforms basic nursing skills and serves under the direction of a practice physician and/or registered nursing staff. Greets and escorts patients, prepares exam rooms, and assists with exams and procedures.

Assists with and/or performs exams, tests, and procedures. Schedules appointments, sets up referral contacts, and educates patients on follow-up expectations.

Requires one year of healthcare experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Must obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program or one year of experience in a clinical setting
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
- One year of healthcare experience
