Role OverviewThe Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in the electronic medical record, and promoting efficient patient flow.
What You Will Do
Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow, performs front desk duties, and provides patient-centered care delegated by Provider.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 1+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, completion of a Medical Assistant Program, and High School Equivalent / GED. Must be able to communicate effectively, organize changing work assignments, and maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients.
Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant Program
- High School Equivalent / GED
- 1+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
