Role OverviewWe have an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team at RMA of New York Long Island in Garden City, New York and will float to Melville, New York. This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.
What You Will Do
Perform a high volume of phlebotomy using proper technique and universal precautions, set up, stock, and maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations, and document patient care services utilizing daily logs, electronic medical records, and appropriate outside laboratory forms.

Requirements
- Strong phlebotomy skills required
- High school diploma
- Completion of a certified or formal medical training program preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
- Computer proficiency required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and build and maintain effective working relationships
