Role OverviewFrederick Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join Radiation Oncology. The Medical Assistant performs clinical duties and some administrative functions under the direction of medical group providers.
What You Will Do
The Medical Assistant will prepare patients for examination, take and record vital signs, assist with various procedures, and educate patients and families on treatment procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience in medical practice or a clinical setting, be certified or licensed as a MA, and have knowledge of EMR and MS Office applications.
Requirements
- Certified/Licensed MA preferred, CNA, EMT or LPN
- One - Two years of experience in medical practice or clinical setting
- CPR Certification
- Computer skills preferably to include knowledge of EMR, MS Office applications
