Medical Coder II - Remote

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of on-the-job experience in abstract coding and coding denials for both hospital outpatient and professional claims
• Payor and Policy Research experience
• Experience Epic platform
• Any of the following certifications by AAPC or AHIMA (Proof of current certification required): Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Or equivalent certification from AAPC or AHIMA
