Role OverviewThe Medical Examiner's Office (MEO) is seeking an experienced and collaborative MEO Administrative Manager to provide administrative and operational leadership for the office. Working closely with the Chief Medical Examiner, this position advances strategic priorities, strengthens operational effectiveness, and promotes a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include leading the development of a High Performing Organization, providing operational leadership and administrative management for the MEO, directing accreditation and regulatory compliance activities, managing the Medical Examiner's Office contract and procurement functions, and supervising assigned administrative staff.

The ideal candidate will have 5-9 years of relevant professional experience, a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field, and experience leading, directing, supervising, or coordinating the work of others. Grant writing and/or grant management experience is also preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5-9 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 1 year of experience leading, directing, supervising, or coordinating the work of others.
- Successful completion of required background checks (pre-selection and/or post-offer).
- Valid regular driver's license.
- Ability to operate a County vehicle and/or personal vehicle for County business.
- Occasional driving required (less than 5% of work time).
- Successful completion of a TB test post-offer.
