Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Front Office Coordinator Lead for a well-established ophthalmology practice in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical front office operations, particularly in an eye care setting. The Front Office Coordinator Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the front desk, supporting both patients and staff to create a positive experience from check-in to check-out.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of medical front office experience, preferably in an ophthalmology or eye care setting.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Experience with insurance verification and scheduling systems required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug and background check as part of the hiring process.
  • Participate in a skills assessment as part of the hiring process.
  • Availability to work Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM as part of the regular schedule.
  • Flexibility to follow the scheduling provided two weeks in advance and respond to last-minute changes as needed.
