Job Description
Medical Lab Technician/Medical Technologist needed for evening shift with occasional days, rotating weekends, and holidays in Beaver, PA. Responsible for processing, analyzing, and reporting laboratory results with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician Program
  • ACT 169 clearance
  • Certification by A.S.C.P. within 6 months from date of hire
  • H.E.W. certification with 5 years of full-time clinical laboratory experience
  • Already functioning as an MLT within SVH or TMC (Grandfathered) as of June 2002
  • MT (ASCP) certified or hold a BS degree from an accredited and associated certification program
  • Obtain A.S.C.P. certification within 6 months from date of hire
  • Already functioning as an MT within HVS or HVB (Grandfathered) as of June 2002
  • Certified as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) through HEW and has experience as a CLT for a minimum of 20 years
  • Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable
