Job Description
Performs diagnostic testing and laboratory procedures in various specialty sections of the clinical laboratory in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience working as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in a moderate to high complexity clinical laboratory testing environment, meeting or exceeding the regulatory CLIA testing personnel requirements.
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field and satisfactory completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program.
  • ASCP or NCA certification eligible or pending
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, verbal and written communication at college level, experience with instrumentation and manual methods commonly utilized in a clinical lab setting, and phlebotomy competency.
