Role OverviewThe Medical Laboratory Scientist II performs waived and non-waived testing, works independently, and assures accurate results and records. They may be delegated the responsibility of day-to-day supervision or oversight of laboratory operations and personnel.
What You Will Do
Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, test analyses, and reporting. Maintain records, adhere to quality control policies, and document corrective actions. Identify problems that may affect test performance or reporting and notify supervisors.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences required
- Medical Technologist (ASCP) [MLT, MT, MLA, Histologists] - American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) required
- Lab experience 2 years required
