Role OverviewAs a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Northwestern Medicine, you will be an integral part of our team, working in a clinical laboratory to perform test procedures and convey results to physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment. This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, with a schedule of 6:30a to 3pm and every third weekend rotation.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include performing test procedures, verifying orders, handling unresolved orders, and troubleshooting problems. You will also be responsible for collecting, receiving, and processing specimens, maintaining test system integrity, and performing quality control.
