Role OverviewThe position is a Lead Position for the Blood Bank bench, requiring the incumbent to follow laboratory policies and procedures to perform high and moderate complexity testing. The incumbent will perform pre-analytical and post-analytical laboratory support functions, demonstrating clear communication with team members to optimize laboratory operations.
What You Will Do
Accurately and efficiently perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes for laboratory testing, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, and perform quality control assessments prior to reporting patient results.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution
- 3+ years experience in a highly complex laboratory setting within defined clinical disciplines
- Medical Lab Technician (MLT-ASCP) or equivalent
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS-ASCP) or equivalent
- Medical Technologist (MT-ASCP) or equivalent
