Job Description
Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of laboratory policies and procedures, CLIA regulations, and strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/MT) certification
  • Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or completion of school laboratory training
  • Bachelor's degree in a science related field and completion of a clinical laboratory science or medical technology program from an accredited institution
  • Phlebotomy experience may be required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle competing priorities
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal & problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform job duties in a professional manner at all times
