Job Description
The Medical Office Assistant performs office administration duties, including clerical and operational support to physicians and practice, with possible limited clinical duties. Must demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, with good oral/writing skills and keyboard/computer skills. On-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills towards patients of different age categories.
Models sensitivity to patients, including effective telephone and verbal communication in emergency situations.
Effective good oral/writing skills.
Keyboard/computer skills.
Electronic medical records system experience.
Previous medical receptionist experience.
