Role OverviewThe Medical Office Associate is the first point of contact for patients and caregivers, responsible for providing excellent customer service, greeting patients, updating insurance information, and performing administrative tasks.
What You Will Do
Greet patients, register, instruct, and provide general assistance, verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, communicate with providers and insurance carriers, answer phones, and offer compassionate support.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be available to work evenings and weekends, willing to travel, maintain certifications, and perform all duties assigned by the Practice Operations Manager or Practice Administrator.
Requirements
- Medical billing/medical receptionist experience
- Basic computer skills, experience with EPIC and Solv
- Detail oriented and excellent data entry
- Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
- Ability to maintain professionalism and provide quality care in a fast-paced, public environment
- BLS certified through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
