Role OverviewGC Associates requires a Medical Office Secretary to provide administrative services and support to the Officer in Charge at one of the Naval Health Clinic Hawaii offices. The role involves receiving daily visitors, answering telephone inquiries, and coordinating phone communication with external entities. The Secretary will also attend and take minutes at divisional and departmental meetings, and input data into various databases.
What You Will Do
The Medical Office Secretary will receive incoming mail, distribute it, and ensure that equipment is functioning to support operations activities. They will also identify and select appropriate software types to meet office needs, develop methods for automating administrative reports, and update, revise, sort, calculate, and manipulate data in various programs.
