Role OverviewThe Physics V role at Northwestern Medicine is responsible for managing the physics section of Radiosurgery/Radiation Oncology/Prentice Radiation Oncology, ensuring staff and infrastructure support clinical needs. This full-time, in-person position in Chicago, IL, involves supervision of physics staff, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and administrative responsibilities.
What You Will Do
Maintain primary responsibility for all physics operations, including workflow and staff assignments. Identify and resolve daily operational issues, interact with physicians, nursing, and therapists, and provide direction to physics staff. Direct acceptance and applications of new equipment, participate in the Radiation Safety program, and oversee orientation and continuing assessment of physics staff.
