Job Description
The Department of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Medical Physicist to fill an academic faculty position within the Division of Medical Physics and Engineering. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. The ideal candidate should have strong technical and communication skills along with commitment to technical and translational research.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics or a related field
  • Postdoctoral training
  • ABR certification
  • 5 years working experience in the field of medical physics
  • Excellent track record of research and successful funding history in the field of medical physics
  • Expertise in either small animal imaging and irradiation research or artificial intelligence
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Commitment to technical and translational research
