Role OverviewCabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a full-time Medical Records Tech to work alongside our Health Information Management Department.
What You Will Do
Retrieve documentation from various nursing units and ancillary departments and scan into the electronic medical record, review medical records for compliant documentation, and process requests for Release of Information.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Previous experience in an acute care hospital HIM Department or similar healthcare facility is preferred, as well as basic computer knowledge and knowledge of medical terminology.

- Junior College/Technical School preferred
- RHIT certification preferred
