Job Description
The Instructor/Operator (I/O) role provides training services for the Medical Simulation Training Center (MSTC) at Camp Williams, Utah. The I/O will instruct and support training on new battlefield medical procedures, techniques, and equipment, and ensure that training courses address all levels of students. The I/O will utilize approved simulation scenarios and assess students' critical thinking skills and psychomotor skills.

Requirements

  • NREMT, EMT
  • Former 68W or 18D Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) Advanced Leader Course (ALC) graduate
  • Former Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 8404 or Navy Independent Duty Corpsman E-6 or above
  • Former Air Force 4NOX1, or an Aerospace Medical Service (4NOX1) E-6 or above
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or Physician
  • Must maintain Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification
  • Must complete TC 8-800 (all tables) or the most current TC3 instructor course offered by the Army Medical Department (AMEDD)
  • Ability and desire to actively pursue learning opportunities to learn the latest skills and techniques in the emergency medical field
  • Combat experience in medical specialties of: 68W, 18D, NEC 8404, or 4NOX1
  • Current provider and/or instructor level certification in, but not limited to: PALS, ALS, ACLS, PHTLS, and ITLS
