Role OverviewWe are seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care, monitoring vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring patient safety for adults recovering from surgeries or illnesses while on heart monitors.
What You Will Do
Essential duties and responsibilities include basic patient care, vital signs monitoring, mobility assistance, EKG lead maintenance, and observation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have current BLS, knowledge of Medical Terminology, and a current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate, with a minimum of six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office.
Requirements
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate or within 6 months of hire and maintain current
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate, preferred
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office, preferred
