Job Description
The Medical Technologist - Lead is a part-time role responsible for coordinating waived, moderately, and highly complex testing across multiple hospital and clinic locations. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a demonstrated understanding of laboratory regulations and procedures.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a program in Medical Laboratory Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree
  • Successful completion of MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent
  • Meets federal guidelines (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments/CLIA) for performing high complexity testing
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to monitor own work to ensure quality and possess excellent prioritization skills
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
