Role OverviewThe Medical Technologist II develops and monitors test systems and performs and interprets laboratory tests for the diagnosis and care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Work Schedule includes every 4th weekend. Located at Northside Hospital in Duluth, GA.
What You Will Do
Develop and monitor test systems, perform and interpret laboratory tests, implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution
- Eligible for an appropriate certification examination
- One (1) year experience in a clinical laboratory
- Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations
- Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test
