Role OverviewPerforms patient and proficiency testing with related quality control, calibrations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and testing. Maintains records and adheres to laboratory's quality control policies.
What You Will Do
Execute test procedures, correlate data, monitor test results, and detect discrepancies. Maintain records, perform quality control activities, and document calibrations and maintenance.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to distinguish appropriate colors, walk frequently, and lift occasionally. Must have a minimum of 1 year previous hospital laboratory experience and certification/licensure within 1 year of hire.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or other related clinical science field from an accredited institution
- MLS (ASCP), AMT, AAB or NCA (formerly HEW) certification/licensure within 1 year of hire
- Minimum of 1 year previous hospital laboratory experience
